The Spanish Golden Visa scheme allows residency for anyone investing over 500.000 Euros in a property in Spain. This visa grants the right to reside in Spain and travel in Europe for 90 out of a 180 days.
The property purchase can be made by an individual or a legal entity, free of any charge and up to the 500.000 EUR. Mortgage or a bank loan cannot be used for the purchase. There is no limit to the number of times that the Golden Visa can be extended if you keep your investment.
It is not mandatory for investor to reside in Spain to maintain the Golden Visa (can remain tax resident outside of Spain), however the investors and their family must have private health insurance as well as sufficient financial resources.
The Golden Visa allows all holders (investor and family) to work in the entire Spanish territory.
